Bishop David wrote to Perth to ask the Secretariat to bring Cursillo to Bunbury, in 2004. D.L.D. and D.S.D. were appointed during 2005 and then the D.L.D. appointed a Secretary.

The “post” Cursillo person was appointed and from then on the Secretariat grew slowly. The Perth Secretariat having held Cursillos in Bunbury already did not bring a Team down to run Cursillo but the D.L.D. & D.S.D. from Perth were there to help with W.1 and M.1 and came to W.1 and sent two other delegates down for M.1. The D.L.D. managed to go to Canberra for a National in Feb. 2005 and then to Hobart in September 2005.  This helped tremendously with the starting up of Cursillo in Bunbury.

As I write this we are starting M.4 what a wonderful 3+ years it has been.  I pass on my very best wishes and God’s blessing for the Secretariat as people change and things change as time goes on.

Prayer need:
Please continue to pray for our venture in sharing Cursillo with the Diocese of the Highveld in South Africa. Pray that the Lord will smooth the path before us.

Upcoming Events:

2012 Mens and Womens teams going to South Africa in May to take Cursillo to The Diocese of The Highveld.

Continuing the journey
The workshop is for any Cursillista who wants to learn more about the Cursillo movement. It will be of particular interest to anyone who is thinking of becoming more involved, either as part of the Servant Community or as part of the Secretariat or even as a Team Member. With the Highveld venture coming up we need a pool of highly motivated and trained people filled with enthusiasm and ideas to ensure its success.
